IDEA Ingham Energy (IDEA Ltd) was set up in 2007 to assist businesses in meeting the requirement of the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive. We're passionate about helping our clients save energy (and money) whilst reducing their carbon emissions.
Since the company was set up we have carried out a large number of assessments and have extensive experience across the energy sector. We are in regular contact with fellow energy professionals around the country and were instrumental in the formation and setting up of Midland Energy Professionals (MEP) an organisation to support assessors and fellow professionals throughout the greater Midlands area.

For a number of years, Nigel, Director of IDEA ltd, represented Energy Assessors across the country at the bi-monthly conventions meeting for SAP and RDSAP. The conventions meetings host representatives from practising Assessors, the Building Research Establishment, Accreditation Schemes and Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government to discuss and ensure we are delivering high standards and relevant energy assessments.
